William J. Smith is running for City Council in Cypress Borough to bring thoughtful leadership, strong community values, and a commitment to listening before making decisions.
WHY I’M RUNNING

Suffolk is growing, changing, and facing important decisions about its future. Those decisions should reflect the voices of the people who live here—not just the loudest opinions or political talking points.
I’m running for City Council because I believe local government works best when it listens first, respects neighborhoods, and leads with integrity.

MEET WILL
William J. Smith is a lifelong Suffolk resident, a father, and a community advocate with deep roots in Cypress Borough.
This city raised me. Its schools, neighborhoods, and people shaped who I am. Now, I'm stepping forward to give back through service—focused on practical solutions, collaboration, and accountability.

LISTENING FIRST
Before finalizing campaign priorities, I want to hear directly from you.
Through a community-wide survey and neighborhood conversations,
I’m asking residents what matters most—what’s working, what’s not, and what we need to do better.
Your voice will help guide my priorities on City Council.
